COC singles trophy has been played for since 1925. Steve Glavas 2007 is the only Titahi representative on there until this year.

Dayle Jackson presented the trophy to Brent and congratulated us both for a thrilling final.

Over 20 Titahi Bay Bowling Club supporters were there in force and voice! To his surprise - the green was flooded with well wishes and hugs (some kisses) when the match had finished.

Brent was down 12-4, it was 15 all and then Brent was 19 -16 down managed to get it back to 20 all and took it out. His opposition from Whitby played a great game, but Brent never gave up.  Winning 21-20.

1st Wellington title.

30th June - 2nd July he will be at the Hastings indoor arena taking on past and present Blackjacks. Needing 3 out of 4 wins to qualify for the finals on the Sunday.

Wellington being 1 of 23 or so regions that qualify for the Nationals as the winner plays the World COC singles.
